What gas cylinder do i need?

Bottled Gas (For Home Use): 

• Domestic central heating: 47kg bottle of propane gas

• Domestic cooking appliances: 47kg / 19kg bottles of propane gas

• Gas Barbecue / Patio Heater: 13kg Patio Gas / 5kg Patio Gas

• Residential mobile home parks: 47kg bottle of propane gas

• Gas Heater: Either 15kg Butane or 7kg Butane ( Depending on the size of your heater )

Portable Gas Supplies:

• Mobile catering: 19kg bottle of propane gas

• Mobile gas heaters: 15kg / 7kg bottles of butane gas

• Touring caravans: 6kg Propane Gas 

Industrial Use:

• Fork lift trucks: 18kg / 12kg bottle of propane gas

• Farming and agriculture: 47kg bottle of propane gas

• Blow torches: 6kg bottle of propane gas

• Welding torches: 6kg bottle of propane gas

How long will my cylinder take to be delivered?

Normally your cylinder will take 1-3 business days to be delivered. We have set routes the driver will take during the week, covering your area twice a week . We only deliver Monday - Friday so if you wish to receive your bottle before the weekend, please order before Wednesday to guarantee a delivery.

How does the cylinder charge hire work?

The cylinder hire charge works on a sliding scale and you will only be entitled to a percentage of the hire charge back when you return your bottle to us.

Please make sure to retain your receipt from the purchase as this will be needed if you ever return the cylinder to us.

For most cylinders it is £49.99, this includes 12kg Butane, 15kg Butane, 6kg Propane and 5kg Patio Gas . With the exception of 13KG Patio Gas, which is £54.99 and Propane 13kg 19kg, 47kg, 12kg and 18kg cylinders are £69.99. 

If I return my Calor cylinder do I get the cylinder hire charge back ?
As long as you keep your receipt (proof of purchase) and are able to show the receipt to the driver on collection of the cylinder you will get a proportion of the cylinder hire charge back. The proportion refunded is based on the number of years you have had the cylinder. Please note that refunds are not returned by the drivers. The office will contact you within 2 working days to arrange your refund. 

Collection of empty cylinders is charged at £9.95 and can be deducted from Cylinder Hire Charge refund (if eligible).
